AVANCE, Inc. is a nonprofit organization created in 1973 in San Antonio, Texas. AVANCE, Inc. has numerous chapters throughout the State of Texas. The AVANCE-Austin chapter exists under an agreement with AVANCE Inc. AVANCE-Austin provides support and educational services to low-income families. AVANCE-Austin strives to strengthen the family unit; to enhance parenting skills, to nurture the optimal development of children; to promote educational support; and to foster a safe and healthy home environment.
